Having amassed an enormous following through his ‘Magic Island Music for Balaeric People’ radio show, Roger has touched the hearts of all trance lovers around the world. Debuting in the DJ Mag top 100 at number #58, Roger had 3 hot album releases on trance giant Armada and took the number 1 spot for trance hit on Beatport.

Big players Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Above and Beyond are already on the Shah bandwagon, playing his uniquely produced material and throwing support behind today’s trance superstar. Armin Van Buuren loved Roger’s sound so much, he had 3 of his songs on ‘A State Of Trance Top 100′, one being the huge hit ‘Lost’ released under his alias ‘Sunlounger’.

Playing to packed out clubs and dance parties around the world, it’s a fitting time that Roger makes his Australian debut in Melbourne’s home of trance, Room 680!

Loaded with his keyboard and laptop, get ready for a 3 hour journey Shah style! This is going to go off!

Cosmic Gate feat. Emma Hewitt - Not Enough Time

With their wicked words they’ll try to hold you down
No this is not our fate; the lives in which they are bound
And there is something more we know it has to be found
I know the world won’t wait, the tide is turning around…

And there’s not enough time…

With all their wicked words they’ll never hold you down
No this is not our fate; the tide is turning around

No there’s not enough time…

In the fallout of the wasted, in the halflight
I stand before you in the last dance of an old life…
Now the cool wind’s blowing and we can’t stay, but it’s alright…
When the night is gone I will still be here…

No there’s not enough time…

Ferry Corsten

Posted by iloveprogressive On March - 29 - 2009

The Dutch superstar has consistently been voted one of the top 10 DJs in the world (according to DJ magazine’s definitive Top 100 DJ chart) for five years. He’s played for hundreds of thousands of fans – sometimes at once – in amphitheaters, fields and nightclubs from Australia to Russia to white-hot Ibiza. He took the party island’s “Best Trance DJ” prize at the annual DJ Awards ceremony this year and two years ago; got tailed by some road-tripping fans on a Southern Comfort-sponsored, 26-city bus tour of America; and had his life’s work interpreted in music, video and décor at his annual Masquerade event “Full on Ferry”, at 12,000-capacity arena Ahoy in his hometown, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

It’s all in a year’s work for the man who’s been called the “architect, pioneer, and instigator” of trance music’s global dominance.ferrycorsten
But within the close-knit international DJ community, Corsten’s regarded as something else too: A studio auteur with a fierce sense of sonic rightness; a real-deal producer who works solo, sans engineer, and creates the most complete, energetic, melodic records in dance music. His style is so singular that synthesizer manufacturer Roland commissioned a Corsten sound bank for their new SP-555 sampling unit. But it’s so broad that it could meld with Public Enemy’s classic cut “Bring The Noise,” on a Corsten remix that Chuck D himself called “the ultimate concoction of space, energy and lyrics.”

The world first experienced Corsten’s dance floor wallop in 1999, when the young and hungry artist created aptly named track “Out Of The Blue” (recorded under his System F moniker). It was the first of his eight Dutch gold records, and 10 U.K. Top 40 hits, the most ever by a trance producer. He released his debut album, “Right Of Way,” in 2003; and the groundbreaking “L.E.F.” – containing Duran Duran collaboration “Fire” – in 2006, which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes dance chart.

A keen sonic curator, Corsten serves as the head honcho for his record labels, Flashover Recordings, Aleph, Boom tssjak, and Levare. On his new XM Radio show, “Corsten’s Countdown,” he debuts new tracks every week and lets his faithful listeners – on the radio, and online – vote on their favorites for the month’s final chart. The show is the first of its kind to engage fans worldwide, and give them a direct hand in predicting and creating hits.

Corsten has also used his high profile for good, serving as an ambassador for the KidsRights Foundation, which increases awareness of the plight of disadvantaged children worldwide. He boasts his own clothing line, Signature F, via Washington, D.C.-based iKY Clothing.

Is Ferry Corsten a globe-trotting, club-packing, beat-dropping superstar DJ? Most definitely. But that’s just the beginning of the story…one that’s still being written.

Alex M.O.R.P.H

Posted by iloveprogressive On March - 29 - 2009

With gigs all over the globe and an impressive array of highly respected productions, Alex M.O.R.P.H. is one of today’s most wanted producers/remixers in the uplifting trance genre. He made over 80 Remixes for fellow artists and released more than 30 own productions as well as big collaborations, which all found their way into the record boxes of the worlds top jocks, like Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren or Above & Beyond, to name a few.

He always tries to show his versatility in multiple aspects, including a well-known radioshow (HeavensGate) and a stunning solo artist debut album coming soon. Bringing the most upfront trance music imaginable in his sets, Alex M.O.R.P.H. is able to make a crowd go wild any time. He also teams up with Woody van Eyden to perform legendary Back2Back sets the people don´t forget too soon – if ever… Even the world’s most credible magazine for dance music (M8 Mag) supported them with a covermounted Christmas CD in December 2006, mixed by Alex & Woody. Furthermore, their weekly radioshow HeavensGate is broadcasted on a worlwide network of radiostations, such as Sunshine Live, BFBS Radio/Sky Digital or Kiss FM Ukraine. In 2007 his growing popularity becomes obvious by climbing up the DJ Mag list (#119). Gigs at Mayday Poland, Amnesia Ibiza, Stadium of Sound Poland, and of course productions with Paul van Dyk (“Get Back”, ”In Circles”) and Woody van Eyden (“I Love Trance”) proved, that Alex doesn´t plan to Rest in 2008!

The follow-up to the massive “Heavenly”on Fenology, “Turn it On”, the new co-op between Alex and Woody featuring the beautiful voice of Michelle Citrin, has been released on Paul van Dyk´s Vandit Imprint and was picked by Armin van Buuren as the Tune of the Week in his radioshow! Also, one of THE trance tunes of 2008 followed: WALK THE EDGE, which got a truly massive remix by Alex M.O.R.P.H. B2B Woody van Eyden themselves.

After entering the DJ Mag TOP100 together with Woody van Eyden in 2008, Alex is just starting his engines, working on his artist album PURPLE AUDIO and presenting the first single from that album, SUNSHINE.
